Magazine and Billboard Advertisement

I will be designing an ad campaign to be run in tandem on a billboard and in Essence magazine to promote a fictional book. The budget for the Magazine ad would be $116,012 for a one page ad, run once in Wired. The demographics of the magazine are 35 year old, college graduate, technophiles. A full page ad will have a 8.25" x 10.75" bleed and a 7 1/2" x 10 3/8" live area. Ads must be in pdf format and submitted online to http://transmit.condenast.com.

The billboard has a different setup than other documents I've prepared. The dimensions are set up around pixels not inches. It is built at 1400 x 400 at 72 ppi in sRGB color mode. It is submitted as a jpg rather than a pdf.

The purpose of the these tandem ads is raise awareness and interest in the book which is geared at the target audience of male technophiles and artists, around 35 years old. The call to action is for the readers to go wherever they buy books (Amazon, Barnes & Nobles, etc.) and purchase a copy of this book.
