QR Code
QR codes are interesting pieces of technology that seem to have a great potential for use but seem to be misused in most scenarios. I think it's easy to get distracted by the novelty of a QR Code without analyzing if it's actually needed. In most incarnations of QR Codes I've seen, they essentially save someone the trouble of typing a URL. If this is the sole use of the QR Cod--and an acknowledgement of the website is necessary--then let the design dictate it's use. Sometimes a QR Code will function better than a written out URL. If this is the case use a QR Code, if not don't add a QR Code because it holds connotations technological savvy.
That aside, I'm required to use a QR code to link to this website for my notepad project.
